I like the ideas of the games and ways to liven up the dry material. I can remember flash cards of medical terminology prefixes, root words and suffixes. Pretty boring stuff. 

I like the crossword puzzle best as it gives a definition of the corresponding word. 

Looking back, I can see how emotions are tied to long term memory. I'm curious to see the types of activities that can be quick, but important to learning concepts and retaining the information. 

I think that adding visual and physical activities would be a great approach to help increase memory retention with medical terms.

I enjoyed the secret identity. It encourages student engagement, creates a fun learning environment, and the content is being acknowledged.

The delivery of the content is important. The majority of the population are either visual or auditory learners. The fewer portion of the population are hands-on learners. Applying content to all three learning types are key in the delivery. Also, repetition is key.

using a variety of methods will help engage all students as each learns differently.  Games really help engagement and developing critical thinking while having fun.
